The Freedom Corridor
About the show:
In southern Bangladesh, the world’s largest refugee camp – close to 1 million for Rohingya refugees, is trapping wild elephants and blocking their migratory path. Lacking food in the forest, the elephants frequently raid local farms to survive. The increasing conflict with elephants is damaging relations between the Bengali, Chakma and Rohinyga communities. Can a plan by the International Union for the Conversation of Nature (IUCN) to recreate their migratory corridor ease the growing tension?
