Very heavy traffic is expected at land checkpoints from Thursday to Tuesday due to the Vesak Day long weekend. Travellers can expect longer waiting times to clear immigration. The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority has advised those who are travelling during this period to consider taking the cross-border bus services.
