Singapore will pump in S$5 billion to boost the equity market as part of measures to increase investor interest and attract potential listings. Under this programme, the central bank will invest with selected fund managers who have a strong focus on Singapore stocks. Neil Parekh, a member of the Equities Market Review Group set up by MAS, discusses the first set of measures recommended by the Equities Review Group.
