Singapore and India elevate ties to comprehensive strategic partnership

The leaders of Singapore and India have agreed to elevate their strategic partnership to a comprehensive one to reflect their commitment in broadening ties. Both countries will also deepen cooperation in areas such as digital technology and the semiconductor industry. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on an official visit to Singapore -- his first since 2018. Singapore is India's largest top foreign investor and its sixth-biggest trade partner. Both countries will mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year. Alif Amsyar reports.
