SBS Transit pilots Singapore's first 360-degree collision warning system
SBS Transit will be using artificial intelligence to keep roads safer for buses and those in close proximity. A new 360-degree warning system will alert bus drivers of nearby pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, even those in blind spots. Under a six-month pilot, SBS Transit hopes this will minimise the risk of accidents and help bus captains exercise greater safety vigilance on the road. Claudia Lim reports.
