Russia-Ukraine war: Kyiv, Western allies urge Moscow to accept 30-day unconditional ceasefire

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he is ready for in-person talks with his Russian counterpart as Kyiv looks to secure a ceasefire with Moscow. Vladimir Putin had suggested holding discussions in Turkiye, but appears to have rejected calls for a pause in fighting as a precursor for talks.
