Recruiting canine companions to help in the war against diabetes

More than half a billion people around the world suffer from diabetes and Singapore is among nations in Southeast Asia with the highest number of cases. Help can come in many forms, though, including from dogs. With their super sense of smell, our furry friends can be trained to detect big drops in blood sugar levels and to ring alarm bells. On World Diabetes Day, Otelli Edwards speaks to a dog trainer in Singapore to find out more.
