PUB using real-time water quality sensors to monitor companies' illegal discharge

Singapore's national water agency PUB is using a network of real-time water quality sensors to monitor illegal discharge from companies. Such waste known as trade effluent discharge could endanger the health and safety of workers. Such illegal practices can also disrupt used water treatment processes downstream.
