A former Philippine mayor with alleged ties to Chinese criminal syndicates has been arrested in Indonesia, after being on the run for months. Philippine senators said they are ready to take custody of Alice Guo once she's deported back to Manila. Suspicions against Guo surfaced after law enforcement officials raided a casino linked to illegal offshore gambling operations in her town of Bamban in March. They uncovered scam centres and human trafficking syndicates that were run from a facility built on land she partly owned. Buena Bernal reports from Metro Manila.
