A new judicial service commission chaired by the Chief Justice will be set up as Singapore restructures its legal service to allow officers to develop more specialised skills, after Parliament approved changes to the law. The change is aimed at grooming enough talent to take on more complex roles in the future, while making the legal system more efficient. Nadhir Mokhtar reports.
