A mother and her son have been charged for giving false information to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore over a 99-to-1 property purchase audit. This is the first such case to be prosecuted. This 99-to-1 arrangement was allegedly used to avoid paying Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty.
