02:46 Min

Singapore will allow more people to have assistance dogs in public housing flats. Those with physical disabilities, are deaf, or hard of hearing will be allowed to have such dogs later this year. Currently, there are only nine assistance dogs in Singapore and they all support blind people. The move is Singapore's latest step toward a more inclusive society. In a 2022 survey of over 600 people, more than nine in 10 supported the use of assistance dogs in day-to-day life. Nikhil Khattar reports.
