Customers at McDonald’s were unable to place orders online or use digital payments on Mar 15 for several hours after the popular fast food chain was hit by a system outage. Staff were unable to take orders at counters nor receive online orders, and the mobile app was also down. McDonald’s Singapore said the outage was not related to a cybersecurity event.
