When Kwon Young-jun realised his wife and daughter were in another skyscraper during tremors that hit Bangkok due to the strong earthquake in central Myanmar on Mar 28, he leapt across a splitting bridge between the two buildings to get to his family. The 36-year-old then sustained minor injuries while running down 52 flights of stairs. "I thought, ‘I have to survive this and get to my wife and child,’ so I kept going down with everything I had," he said.
