Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant, a year since release of treated radioactive water
Today marks one year since Japan began releasing treated radioactive water from its crippled Fukushima nuclear plant into the sea. It's planning to move on to the next step - the removal of melted fuel debris. Preparatory work was supposed to begin on Thursday, but this was pushed back, due to a procedural error. CNA's Michiyo Ishida was at the plant earlier this week.Â
