Japan Airlines sees strong demand for upcoming summer peak period

Japan Airlines' outbound traffic remains relatively weak at only about 50 per cent of pre-pandemic levels. However, strong international traffic has buoyed earnings, with tourists flocking back to Japan in droves. The carrier is seeing high demand for the upcoming summer holiday period. With premium travel seeing resurgence, the airline is also tapping into the market by acquiring new planes featuring luxurious suites.
