Involuntarily unemployed workers to get financial aid from April 2025
Workers with a previous monthly salary averaging S$5,000 or less will be eligible for financial aid if they are involuntarily unemployed. When the SkillsFuture Jobseeker Support scheme starts next April, it is expected to help about 60,000 workers each year. The Government will set aside S$200 million annually for this programme.
