GE2025: PAP and WP could square off in Jalan Kayu SMC after RDU, PPP step aside
The single-seat ward of Jalan Kayu will likely see a straight fight between the People's Action Party and the Workers' Party (WP). This is after opposition parties Red Dot United (RDU) and the People's Power Party announced they would not contest there. RDU's party chief Ravi Philemon says it became clear through its exchanges with WP that it intends to field a candidate in the SMC.
