Singapore Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat said on Friday (Jan 26) that fare card systems will remain in place until at least 2030, alongside account-based system SimplyGo. In the meantime, the Land Transport Authority will look for a way for fares to be displayed on card readers when SimplyGo is used. He also described the push for the full adoption of the SimplyGo payment platform for public transport as a "judgment error". Nicolas Ng with more.
