Top European Union leaders have arrived in India on a two-day mission to broaden trade and diplomatic ties in the face of growing US protectionism. European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen has hailed India as the bloc's most trusted ally. She and her team of commissioners will be meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow and hold discussions with the trade minister.
