Industry players say Chinese visitors are now travelling in smaller groups, preferring free and easy options, rather than in large organised tours. Singapore saw about 2.9 million tourists from China in the first 11 months of last year. The figure was about 3.35 million over the same period in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic struck.
