Calvin Cheng’s comments on activists completely insensitive, unacceptable: PM Wong

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong says Singapore must nurture and protect its cohesion, calling comments on the Israel-Palestine conflict by former Nominated MP Calvin Cheng as "completely insensitive and unacceptable". Mr Wong made the remarks in a social media post after meeting local Islamic leaders on Apr 10 morning. Mr Cheng came under fire last week for his comments about a local pro-Palestinian activist group and has since apologised.
